Casting Call: Who is Actually Living on Mission?

There are a lot of people out there talking about being missional. Or being incarnational. Or living on mission. Or being missionaries in their neighborhoods. Or...fill in the blank.

But this is a plea from us. We really need your help on this one. We need you to connect us with some people who are really doing it. You know...people who are actually trying to live like Jesus in their neighborhoods. And in their workplaces. And wherever they end up.

And here's why.

We're working on a new podcast!

We know. There are a million podcasts out there. But, We don't know of a whole lot that focus on this whole missional lifestyle.

Our absolute favorite is Nomad Podcast. These guys do some great interviews, and they've been at it for a long time.

There are also Exponential, Verge, and Missio Alliance, who offer conference recordings of the big names on their various podcasts along with some other very valuable stuff.

But, what we have found lacking are real life stories from normal people living on mission. Now, of course, we're not saying Alan, Hugh, Michael, Caesar, and the rest of the big names aren't real people.

But what about the stories that aren't already published in books? What about the couple who have been actively living a missional lifestyle in their neighborhood since before "missional" became so trendy? Or the people who have completely rearranged their lives so they could be present and go with Jesus into their communities?

We want to talk to them (or maybe you)

As We said, we're working on launching a podcast.

A podcast dedicated to hearing and telling the stories of everyday people who have chosen to live as missionaries in their own contexts. People just like you and me. People whose stories can motivate us to live more like Jesus every day.

But we have a problem.

You see, we only know so many people. And most of them are in Sacramento.

But this needs to go beyond our reach. In order for this to work, we need people like you to help us make connections.

Help us connect with them

Will you help us?

Would you give us their contact information along with a little information about why you think they would be a good fit?

Or, if you prefer, you can ask them to connect with us right here. Send them to our Contact Page or give them our email address: contact@joeandsarahcaples.com. Or, better yet, you can click the links below to share this article on social media and tag a few people in it.

Our goal is to have at least 10 interviews scheduled or completed before we launch the podcast. So please help us out here.

And if you would like to be one of those interviews, let us know! If you're reading our blog, then you probably have a story worth sharing. And we want to help you share it!

Thank you for helping us help others!

P.S. If you think of a catchy little title we could give this podcast, share that with us too. There might be a little something in it for you if we choose your title.
